    Expensive Start Last Year

It is always expensive to get started into something new, especially a hobby. My wife and I are putting together the end of year budget and planning for next year. Just what was documented on cards this year, I shelled out over $2600 in crawling related stuff. I know it will be less this year, now that I have a good base to start from. Who knows how much the real total is. I did a lot in trades through PayPal and some in cash. I suppose the PayPL stuff doesn't really count. I sold a lot of heli stuff to get the ball rolling with the crawlers. Like I told my wife, there are a lot more expensive hobbies out there. We should feel lucky. By the way adding up expenditures on crawlers is not a task for the faint of heart or wallet.

Yeah I figured about $5k on my stuff. Maybe a little less because I did sell some of it.

I don't think it gets cheaper, I have been in the hobby for 4+ years. This is the first year I qualified for papal advantage which requires $5000 dollars in transactions. I am pretty sure it was all crawler related as I haven't spent a dime on my Chevelle in 2 years.

That's just paypal, of course that includes selling also.

I'd rather not know either. Lol cause then the old lady could find out.

"If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all property until their children wake up homeless on the continent their Fathers conquered...I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies... The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs." -Thomas Jefferson
