Not really an 18 wheeler but not sure where to post it

I'm in the process of building a 6X6. I plan on using it to haul my scaler. It's based on TLT axles. I'm using an old Reign products J2-tt chassis as the base of my chassis build. I'll be welding aluminum rails onto that and attatchin mount points for the rear axle to the rails. I'm also scratch building a cab. It's not an actual scale Man Kat, but it's close enough. I eyeballed it and made some changes for tire clearance as it will sit on 2.2s.

    Here's the cab so far.

It still needs more sanding and filling and sanding. Also got to add some detail pieces but it's not too far from paint I guess, at least you can get an idea of what it's gonna look like. Next pics should be when it's ready for paint, or maybe some chassis pics.

yup, i like it. great work Rick

Here's a mockup of what it should sort of look like when done.

The body might be a bit high but you get the idea. Gonna be a flatbed and it should be big enough to haul my scaler

Yeah, I figured if I was gonna do it, I was gonna do it big. Now to get started on the chassis.

I may try to comp it at a scale comp. It'll be too big to be a serious contender might it might be fun to see how many gates I can take out with it. I don't think it'll fit inside the bridge the SVSC guys have been using at there comps. Wheelbase as planned is 18 1/2 inches. I"m pretty sure that'll take some real driving to squeeze through gates.

OK this has been on hold too long. I may have to start back up on this.
