    Trying something new

I have made a few contacts in the hobby sized laser cutting and CNC field. I may try to cut some body kits out just for fun, but to start I get one free cut session, to test out services, so I decided to draw this up to what it will turn out like. I initially drew one to scale but I was told that the setup time is the same and cutting time is minimal, so fill my sheet of styrene and maximize space

Can you guess what it is? Or what it will be for? I only have 5 extras, I may give a couple away if I actually see any builds on HERE!!! But that is highly unlikely

The zig-zag lines in the DXF (drawing) are just a regen issue with the computer screen (typical AutoCAD), they are smooth arc's in the actual linework and will print/cut smooth.

Very cool, are you looking to create an entire cab or just the grill?

I have a JK windshield frame and a complete JK body set. I may cut up the JK just to get an idea and then build off the windshield frame with a scratch build.
Right now I am getting these grill pieces cut with the laser as a start. I will draw up a 2 dr then a 4 dr, with associated bed pieces, I know of a styrene supplier to get bigger sheets so hopefully I can cut a complete body from a sheet. The bed on their laser is 4'x4' so I have options.

What stage is your FC build at?

I have been playing with the removable cap I cut and pieced together and am working on the bed. It is a learning curve for me, I feel like I am wasting more styrene than I am using. Lol
