    Thanks Dave!
A ringer... Lol... The truck did all the work!
Which for its first time out, I was truly impressed with its abilities. I might just have to mount a set of rock beast's up on my CAC wheels and give this a shot in C2..

    EDIT: Event was in Connecticut...

    Thanks Curt!

The Troyota, "dream, trail rig" continues..

With a C2 comp yesterday, last week was a head game for me. Since this rig is still new to me, I didn't know what to do about tires..

So I grabbed some wheels, foams and tires.
    List:
CAC 1.9 scale wheels, CI Lil Nova foams, with RB's..(which I can't find the pic of)

2.2 Methods, CI DW, with RB's..(once I realized how much I like the Methods, I tested the Lil Nova's on them too)

Not much height difference between the 1.55 Growler's, stuffed with CI foams, and the RB's with CI DW foams..

I think the wheel setup looks Sick!

With the ability to use hubs, I grabbed some "Shift" hubs, from Lattice Innovations (BC-Brian) and got my width right..

And went out to the rocks..
    The front worked Great!!!

The rear didn't work so well.. With the shackles on the rear and the open lug pattern of the RB's, the back arch of the wheel well was getting alot of bite from the tires and holding back truck performance.

So the next move, since I think the 2.2's look bad ***, I thought maybe the Growler's would look good on the Methods..

    WHAT!? 1.55's on 2.2's!!!!!!

Not bad.. But I really like the RB's on the Methods.. Sooooooo....
I ended up back, right where I started..

I figured, I mize well get use to the truck before I start worry'n about what tires I'm running... So with the Growler's mounted back up, it was time for bed and get some sleep for the comp..

So, on with the comp info!

    Course 1
Into gate 2, I watched some winching, some rollovers, and some make it.. Sure hope this truck works! Sure did!
Then into gate 8, watching some C2 rigs struggle up a hill climb, I started to get real worried about my tire choice!
Well, all was well and a clean course thru 8..
Wait wait wait..... I have no steering! The horn is laying in the dirt! (Non clamping and screw fell out that was holding it on)
    Quick repair and finish!
No rebacks or gates.. Clean course (minus the touch/repair) shewwwww...

    Course 2..
    Another good course design..
    Clean course!

C3.. I actually got on video! (thanks to my camera men.. Wes for his "Footage" and Jslick for finishing it out!)
It was the trickiest of the day...
Gate 1, I think I was the only one to come out of it to the right.. Narrow track width was a good thing!
Gate 4 was steeper then it looks and another spot I was worried, but the Growler's and the truck, did me good..
    7. Worked as planned, just not getting into it. I got trail rash now tho! Lol...
    Another clean course!

I'm getting more and more stoked about the Troyota! I think I need another, for a dedicated C2 rig..

    Enjoy..

    Small changes/repairs..

Took the Troyota to a picnic Sunday after Rausch.. Mistake! :/

Let my adult cousin drive it around..
Showed him 2nd gear and went back to my conversation..

"Hey, is this supposed to be smoking!?" WHAAAAA!!!!

So shy of waiting for fire and my rig melting to the ground, I pulled the body off and unplugged the battery.
Come to find out, it was the motor.. :'(

Now, I wish I would of took a pic of the smoke first!
It was rolling out of the grill, out from under the hood, and the wheel wells.. It looked SOOOO realistic, it was bad ***!

I got back to it yesterday.. Endbell hood is melted off the endbell, on one side..

Found the shifter broke off, which was causing binding in the tranny. Which lead to the motor over heating.

    Replaced the shift rod.

Checked for smooth operation and mounted up a "new" heart.. It's a transplant from my Super..

    HH 13t skewed 520 puller

    More updates to come..
I want to mount a SDI shaft to the front axle, protective cover (mounted from chassis real to chassis rail) for the transfer case, and finish the rear axle wrap setup..
