Looking for help on setup of daul esc's

I now have a XR10 with dual FXR esc's and Tekin 35t motors.

    I also have a DX4C with a SRS4210 receiver that I got in a trade

The DX4C says it has preset mixes but I do not understand it.

    overview

    http://www.spektrumrc.com/Products/D...ProdId=SPM4210

    the manual

    http://www.spektrumrc.com/ProdInfo/F...-Manual_EN.pdf

my question is can I use this to run dig or do I need to get the DX4RPRO

If so any idea how to set it up.

I also have the other XR10 the has 35t broods and two castle micro sidewinders

so if I need to get the better radio to do both then I will
    Let me know
    Thank You

Them mixes aren't for anything, you need for a dig..
(Just reread) ur not running a dig, ur running dual esc's..

I ran a dig off a dx3c.. Heck, I think I ran my XR, with a punk dig, off a dx3c.. No mixing needed..

(The above statement doesn't count towards you.. Sorry)

As for getting a dx4rpro.. OUCH! I just looked the price up quick (mid reply)..

Ummm... Yes, I understand IF all ur other rigs run off of spektrum, you want to stay with spektrum..
But really.. For that kind of money,(and No One really using the dx4r) I would suggest a airtronics MT-4 and a spare rx..
You can run both ur pro rigs on it..

I see alot of ppl buy the 4 and post threads and questions about how to work it.. They hardly ever get a response.
All tho.. I think the main issue, mixing, has been figured out..

(It's been a long week so far, 52hrs, so if I'm jumping around, don't mind me) lol

I guess if a lot of the members have the Airtonics Mt-4 so I guess I will get one. So for around 300 I can get a radio and 2 receivers. The best part is I can get help if I need it to set it up.

I have been looking on ebay and rccrawler at home since I can not access them from work.
its a pain to search on my phone to darn small to see

debating on buying used versus new

    I found a new one for 219.99 a extra receiver for 89.90 and a
    JConcepts 2207 Radio Bag Airtronics MT4 29.90

    Subtotal $339.79
    Discount (10% Off Coupon) -$33.98
Shipping & Handling (Flat Rate - Fixed) $2.99
    total.308.80
so around 200 used or new for 310???

Does everyone just use AA batteries or is the lipo better?

    or something different?

No need to buy the 90$ 4ch telemetry rx.. The 45$ 3ch rx work just the same..

HobbyKing actually has them cheaper as well..

EBay use yo have them new for 205$ shipped! With rx.. Plus 50$ for 2nd rx.. 255$ shipped.. Better yet!

I use lipo.. And I have 2 batteries just for the tx.. I never run out of battery.

If weight isn't a big deal, the waterproof one will work..

I have the rx-371 in one of my pro rigs, decased, and a few other rigs.. It works goooood....

A plus side to the waterproof one is, once you realize you Love the MT-4, you'll already have a waterproof rx for ur scale rig..
