I am no help there, my color scheme hasn't deviated much in the last 3-4 years

yea in the original, its a holmes torquemaster expert 55t!
ordered a savox 0231mg waterproof servo today and clamping aluminum horn.

so now just down to paint and some wire/deans connectors to build the harness.

Thanks! There's some minor imperfections between the green and the white (the green was actually a mistake), i didn't realize the metallic green I bought was clear, so I ended up letting the body sit with clear green metallic in it for a while before the white went in and some smudges made their way over the months it sat, nothing major but still I notice it.

The steering took a little troubleshooting with the chassis mounted servo and panhard bar setup but mike u. had a linkage that was near perfect to make it work. It may still need tweaking but we'll see. Probably gunna do a real (non garage/house crawling) test run with it on friday after a hunting trip in the morning. But otherwise everything seems to be working fine and the winch works well on my remote, I do need to program it to a different button on the 4pls though because the switch that defaults channel 3 is bi-directional but isn't momentary, I'm going to program it to a momentary one so I don't accidentally burn it up.

Turned out great. We need to get a scale fun run planned soon. Can't make it Friday though.

Thanks everyone, I'm glad everyone thinks it looks good (it's easy to tell yourself it looks good haha)!

I'm going to cut the antenna down to a more "scale" height. Only reason I put it on is I'm an old school RC kind of guy and I can't have an rc car without an antenna lol! But the 4PLS receiver antenna wire only goes up like half the tube so I have room to make it a more realistic height.

Just ordered a pair of machined battery plate mounts for the rock rails, two turnigy 3s 2650mah lipos. I made up a parallel connector to run them that way. I didn't like how the battery on the factory rear location worked against me on steep inclines. I think only other major tweak for now is going to be some soft compound foams (hopefully something waterproof) and vent the beadlocks to get some squish.

Then on to some scale accessories
