    Howdy!

Hi ya'll. I'm from Pine Grove about 10 minutes from Rausch Creek Offroad Park. I used to do a lot of go fast rc stuff but decided to slow it down a little and get a crawler after SubaruBannedBoy talked me into it Picked up a Dingo kit, stainless screw kit, Level 3 chassis mount servo with panhard bar, and angled shock droop/lift kit. I'll be running a Haynes motor, castle sidewinder esc. Haven't made final steering servo decision or radio (not much option for 4 channel pistol). I'm currently in rolling status and starting to trim out the body.

    Nice to meet everyone.

    Great to have you.

Love the Scout. I have a buddy who would give me one just like it (except it is rusty green, LOL) I just would need the time and $$$ to get it on the trails.

Scout is a 62 Model 80. Yea, the scouts getting a frame off. Nothing super wild, probably even sticking to the stock axles and just throwing some moly shafts in, but its factory twin stick dana 20 tcase which is cool, but the original model 80 only had the 152 4 cyl. The 4 cyl had 2 years or turbo models pumping 4-5psi but the factory manifolds are made of "unobtanium" and are lost in the abyss of history. I'll be running a garret around 10 psi on it after it's finished. Gotta talk to a few good turbo guys for something that will boost as low RPM as possible. Probably 3-4" of lift, 32" tires. That's all this short wheel base will need for me. I actually picked it up more because my other projects are done (Father/Son 62 Nova, a 79 f100) and wanted something to build.

Nice to meet everyone. And ya'll can beat up on Subie since he was gunna bring me an old Sidewinder esc that had issues to get the upgrade from castle on and he forgot it when he stopped out to do a quick mod to his car

Just a progress shot. Motor is in, winch is on. Sidewinder 3 is on the way and Futaba 4PLS is on the way. I'm down to a steering servo, paint, and a few extra deans connectors to make a jumper harness (I have the winch controller, esc, and BEC that all need to hit power and I don't want to solder them all to the same male deans plug. I think i'm going to do the ESC separate of the BEC and winch controller).

Nope, or else I would have ordered paint awhile I don't even have a clue on what direction I want to go for color yet.
