Yeah, that may be your best bet. Maybe try McMaster-Carr to see if they have it (online)
I bet that is some Euro standard size, not easy to get here.

Check Ebay (UK or worldwide) for 10x20x2mm U channel (they must call it U channel not C channel on the other side of the big pond)
I found some on an old listing from PMD (Garden trucking) item #1711 9th page in the metals section. I am not 100% sure but I thik that Wedico used different chassis rails on their semi's. Shoot PMD an email or call, it cant hurt to ask.

I got some frame rails coming from Poland
Qty 4 35 inches long shipped for 35.00
    awesome price

Gonna strip this POS down and use some of the parts

I am not sure what i should use for Motor and trans

Should I stick with the 2 speed?

Should I stay brushless or go brushed?

    Good deal

I would stick with brushed for a 6x6, although brushless would be fine, just my opinion. I nice 3s compatible ESC and a decent 35t motor would work great.

Hopefully you can salvage enough good parts off the truck. Which cab are you planning on using? Any idea what you are going to use for a bed?

I am not sure if i want to do a 6x6 or 8x8. All the parts i got are for a 8x8 and the frame is 35 inches.
I am not sure how long it will have to be. Maybe i will use the cab and tanker i got from you.

unless I find something else to use

what else you got hiding down there?

I kinda want to build the body back like it was but much better.
I also want to build some roll up doors.

the big problem is my sytrene or lack of and knowledge.

i have to go find a place that has alot so i start on trying to make doors
something like this and in 8x8

Building a cab like the original truck you bought isn't that hard. Unfortunately the cab you bought is not even worth its weight in scrap styrene. He didn't even remotely try to get it accurate. You have to build the base and then contour off of that

Building a truck like you posted in your link wouldn't be that hard either, the roll up doors would need a little thought but not impossible

I scrapped the body he made and i will do the same with the frame and alot of other small stuff.
I will use the axles, electronics on this project or other projects. some of the other stuff i will save incase others can use it.

not really sure what i want to do yet. i guess i better figure it out before i start.

i know i have to get alot of styrene to stock up on. i want to try and build the doors first to see if i can do it and how they come out.
