This truck is a custom built machine. If any items breaks during use parts may need to be fabricated. I currently have a Clear protective adhesive cover over the entire body to protect the paint. It has some bubbles in the adhesive, but it can be removed if you do not like it. (The bubbles are not the paint but the adhesive to protect body). I just added it to protect my hard work. I will include all spare parts and extra stickers for the truck. A total of 21 tires will be included with truck.

Item is sold as is and will be WELL documented when shipped to you to verify perfect working order. This included video and pictures. Item will be shipped via Fed ex.

A picture is worth 1000 words

Ask what he bonded the styrene with.
The roller itself is pretty basic.
Ask if he fixed the center driveshaft angles, they were very steep and looked like they would bind in some of his pictures. The mid axles are clocked the wrong way with the center facing pinions pointing to the ground and the tranfer case sets to high in the chassis.

FYI: one screw holding the leaf spring to an SCX axle is not the proper way to do the job, the only point of suspension contact on each axle are two little screws (one at each axle end) that strip out very easy (we have all stripped a screw in Axial cases).... You can do it like that but without anti-wrap bars the leaf springs will eventually twist like a pretzel, there is no way to keep the axles clocked so the pinion angle gets crazy when 1 axle binds and the other gets good traction. A better way would be to make wedge blocks so you can mount the leaf with both screws and mount the wedge to the axle with both screws on each axle end. This also fixes the clocking problems. Although to much opinion angle causes a world of other issues with the outer axles. You have to find the happy medium.
Just pointing out one area of possible frustration later when you are left with 8 bent leaf springs and 8 stripped screw holes.

My opinion says that it is a bit overpriced for the quality of the work, although it has potential if you like a challenge.

John be honest I really value your opinion
    yes it needs some work

    body not constructed to good
no braces in the corners for sure
I will find out alittle more about it

    But with what is there

what is is worth what is a fair price

fixing the axles and adding anti-wrap bars and wedge blocks plus what ever else needs to be done

It is a hard sale because the guy thinks he has a "gold mine". Stating the inflated hours and the itemized prices for the parts he bought, usually means he wont budge.

But if you really want this truck see if he will drop to $500 shipped.

    Just a side note:
I really like this setup I found on scale4x4. I like how he properly spaced the axles, clearly someone who knows how to build.
