Another Quirked Blazer
Just because I am bored of my other builds.. Here is a pile of junk that I am attempting to make something out of. Like most of my builds, I am going for super cheap.
Picked up some Clod Chevy body parts - Free
Scored a set of well built TF2 axles- XVD's, shimmed R&P, 3 link mount kits, replacement case, spare XVD, etc - For next to nothing
TF2 chassis - Free
Working on a deal for a TF2 trans and transfer case - as cheap as possible, most likely will trade into them. If not I have my choice of a few SCX trans or an R2 I can stuff in it
I have a box of wheels and tires, I will stuff something under it
Took the saw to the Clod body & bed and this is what emerged

Here is the start to the build

Not sure if I will use the TF2 chassis or SCX, but I still have time

I am not going to put a cap on this truck, it will have an open back, drop bed section and a steel roll bar. Nothing overly fancy just nice. It will at least have rear leaf springs, I have been wanting to do an elliptical setup for a while. Not sure if I want to put flares on it or just fix the bastardized wheel well openings in the cab. But for less than $25 total invested in this pig already, I can do whatever I want and still have an awesome truck.

Looking great for the money you have into it. I can't wait to see it up and rolling.

Thanks guys
Here is a mid 70's Blazer I did a few years ago, my goal was to get it fairly accurate.. But this was more work than I plan on the one I am working on now

I started gathering parts for the elliptical leaf mounts, looks like it is easy enough, just the TF2 chassis is going to need a severe diet. I am not sure it is best to cut it up, I think the trade value of it is better suited elsewhere
