    Zombie Slayer

I was aksed to take a CF chassis and fir some XR axles to it for Dan. I figured Zombie Slayer would be a good name. It is still a work in progress, but here is what has been done so far.

    Dismantle:

Narrow Chassis and Taper front to back:

Sort out links using temporary all thread rod:

Change out shocks to borrowed Axial SCX10 ones:

I got some more accomplished on the rig. SHould be no problem having it ready for RC3.

    Wes

Ti lower links in the front. I searched around and found some that were the right length and bend in my parts bin:

Changed out servo arm and added a turnbuckle. Longer on the knuckle and shorter on the servo arm should add significant torque:

    Finally a side shot:

Is it me, or is the chassis not centered between the axles?

Yes, the chassis is not centered. This pushes the weight way forward.

Here is a side shot of the new Delrin links in the rear. I couldn't use the Blue Monkey links due to the shocks laying down so much. These have a little more up turn at the end. A few more tidbits and I will be all done.

OK, all she needs is electronics and tires. I am really curious to see how she does on the rocks.
