    Axial XR10 Discontinued

If the Axial XR10 is discontinued is there something to replace it coming out?

I thought the XR10 MOA design was good and a great crawler or is everyone switching to SCX10's

    Am I missing something?

tell me your thoughts and what is going on.

I talked to the owner of RCP the producer of the progress chassis he helps to run RC crawler online his name is Dave. he said they just discontinued the kit because so many people are building their own but they will support the previous every part included

If they had half a brain they would sell entire axle kits. That is what is wanted. If you price out the parts for an axle, it is super pricey.

Pretty much what was said above.....

2.2 comp class has become insanely expensive to set up to be competitive, so there are less people building them. The SCX is a scale truck, completely different animal.

The only thing still stock about my XR10 are a few plastic bits on and including the axle. I also have stock CVDs. Everything else has been upgraded. Do you need to do this no. Do you do this if you are obsessed and crazy, yes. So, it depends on what you want to use it for and I you want to upgrade.

easier to just find a used rig or axles and go from there. most comp rigs like Wes said are hardly stock.
