So my trans gears showed up today along with my chassis. I started mocking everything up and something just doesn't feel right. I believe I am gonna take the wheelbase out closer to 13". The LCC shocks I mocked up with are now I believe what it's gonna have on it. They fit nicely and I may limit them about 10mm. Other than that everything is coming along nicely. I ditched my original plans for the axles and will have an update soon on what is in store for those.

Yay! More pictures. So I went straight back to it after the last post. I am happy with the setup now. The wheelbase is just shy of 13" now and the shocks are limited 6mm internally now. Just waiting for the other shocks to arrive and the trans then I can get measurements for the upper links. Here are just a few more, and a little teaser at the bottom.

Worked a little today on a battery and electronics mount. I used the two Axial battery plates I had lying here and some aluminum angle. There are still a few holes needing drilled and some trimming of the top plate, but it's pretty close to what it will look like finished.

Here is a picture of the fitment. This is literally the chassis sitting on the axle with 1/4" links used for mock up. Should have no problem clearing the 3/16" Ti uppers that are on order.

Ok so the powerplant came today along with my "freebie" spare tire. The motor can is a little rough, but it runs good and for what I paid for it I can't really gripe.

The Rok Lox fits perfectly in the back of the bed.

Not sure about the FXR, but that is a nice motor. Would love to have two more for my other trucks!

I'm not sure about an FXR either.

Got some time to finish up the lightbar today. I just need some paint on it and 3 more light buckets for it. Got my trans today from Suby (thanks bud). Gonna mirror the spur shaft and install the RR gears later on. No pictures of that since everyone knows what the inside of an Axial trans looks like. So here's the light bar done and ready for paint.
