Not a huge update, but gained some clearance an cleaned up the rear axle, with some Dlux weight holders.

Gained 3/8" of clearance an got the weight out wide.

    All nice an clean..

    And shiny!..

Fancy little update an maybe video, if photobucket decides to load it....

Anywho, wasn't digging the old tie rod an drag link much.. Wasn't a weight thing, but ya know..

So I got with Calvin, CW crawlers, an gave him some measurements.. This is what I got in the mail..

So after bending the tie rod to desired shape, I got this..

It added a little extra throw, due to it's skinny 1/8 ti size, hitting lock when it gets to the front mount post and the end to the servo..

For the other side, it's out to lock as well, the steering is much smoother as well. I added a couple mm to the tie rod for a better bend then what I had..

Had to clearance my rcbros servo mount/4-link plate, to make up for some steering..

My final thought an say on this, perfect way to go! Stronger, lighter, an better looking....

    Yep, that light!

    Front axle is DONE!

Thanks RIK, its been most enjoyable to build an run..

I use metric cause that's how most of everything measures.. Ok ok, I added 9/64" to it...
