    The Slick-a-Saurus Gator

After finishing the build for Jslick, I decided I just had to build me one of my new chassis designs. So, I found some scrap CF and got busy. There were a few tweaks, but it has all the same geometry. I plan on making all new links front Andy rear. I Al's have plans for a smashed set of micro sidewinders wired up the same as what I did on Jslicks rig. Here is a pic of the one I just finished and the chassis as I have it finished so far. Just need to get a few things on order and I can stat the swap over.

A boring cold Sunday, 2 liter soda bottle, scissors, razor blade and vinyl stickers will get you some cool looking lightweight skins. I am super pleased with how they turned out. Much better than the all black look.

The soda bottle was .010 thick vs the .025 on the Delrin. A few thou was added back on with the vinyl, but overall it is pretty much the same weight.

I got some more progress made. The upper links received aluminum balls. the BEC board wasremoved and the servo wire shortened. All I have left are the lower links and ESCs to arrive.

Soldering iron, solder and wire cutters. Just desolder from the board and cut to length.
