Hey guys so I figured I would get in on the thread and show you all what I've got so far. I have had my XR10 for about a month now and I am really enjoying this rig.

The rig came to me pretty much stock. It had two Novak 45T's, Chisel tires, high clearance aluminum links in the rear and the Avid 9mm mod was already done. It was up to me to find electronics for it minus the BEC and rx seeing that I had those already. With some hunting I found a good price on an FXR and thanks to Rik a punk dig unit. All wired up and running within a day the final drive gears in the rear went out. So I went ahead and switched out the 8mm bearings with Traxxas bushings while I had it apart. Ok ok. So here is the rig after I got it running.

So as things always seem to find a way to work out, I came across a good deal on a set of DNA Stalker aluminum wheels with Axial offset and HB Rovers. Here it is with new wheels, links, and shocks.

Great job, I really like the looks of those links, what is your WB with them?

Thanks John. I am at a little over 12" at ride height and right on 12 1/2" fully compressed. I originally had long rod ends on the lowers at the axle both front and rear, but that put it at a little over 13". Now as it sits one long/one short in the front lower and both short in the rear lower.

Ok so I have to try and play catch up here with this. My next venture was to do a different body. I didn't like the one that is on it at first, but it started to grow on me. On the other hand I enjoy painting my own so I figured why not? After a bit of pondering on how I wanted to do it, I ended up ordering a clear shell, some paint masks and some paint. I had a couple of minor flaws cause it just so happened the day I wanted to start the body was a cloudy rainy day. I admit that I did what I always tell others not to do and got ahead of myself. But all in all it is to my liking.

This is a really great start. The paint job look killer. Can't wait to see this one at the next comp.

Thanks Wes. I am having a blast with this thing. Much more fun than my LCC was.

Ok so quick update. I know just about everyone is running RC4WD gears in the rear end, but I just put Axial machined top and bottom final drives in so I won't be taking them out until they break. That popping though drives me crazy. I read an article on this double screw mod and figured I would give it a try and see how everything holds up. It was quite simple to do and didn't take much time. Here are a few pics of what I did.

I will let you all know how it holds up and if it takes care of the popping.

They were some shims I had left over from my LCC.

So the mail lady was a little nicer this morning. LOL.

Got all the electronics hooked up. Just got to mount the axles and make a new panel for the topper. Will post more pics up later.
