Thats a nice start I have a bruiser myself and it is my favorite trucks. There is another member on this site that also has a bruiser thats a friend of mine. These trucks are the original scale crawler. LONG before rc crawling was cool. Nice start can't wait to see the resto.

well sitting here in the motel room i have the instructions with me and im reading them over counting the replacement's i need to swap from phillips to cap screws. first up is the frame strip and paint. then the rears will be next after that. i have some paint ideas for the body, a nice medium blue metallic, flat black frame and satin black rears. some other highlights also as they come to mind and still not set on the body color could do chrome yellow black accents and call it bumble bee. or orange and black and call it pumpkin killer

frame bead blasted and painted satin black. spring mounts and shackles will be red or yellow to look like an aftermarket lift kit was installed

Did you check out http://store.rc4wd.com/Tamiya-Bruise...neer_c_48.html ?

They have a few of the parts you were looking for. The rear straight axle shaft set for $40 looks nice, converts it to 12mm hex. Looks like if you did some searching also you may find a set of dogbone stubs that fit to convert the front over to 12mm hex??

    Some misc body parts
