the rest of the parts came, i painted everything and while it was apart i converted to deans plugs. i did the esc backward and didnt realize it until about 3 seconds after i pluged the battery in.
i looked for something used or cheap for now, but i decided to just do it right. so i just ordered a HH brxl. new motor to go with it when there back in stock.
should be here about Tuesday. everything else is ready to go.
i still need to get some lights for the light bar eventually and finish the spare tire mount, but it can be run as soon as the esc come in.

Dude! Nice. It still looks like a wraith, but I like the dark color and the tire setup. Looking good. Maybe some day I will splurge and buy one.

thanks guys. it is a ton of fun for sure. i am looking into lighting set ups next. i want to add 2 lights to the rear taillight bar (yellow and blue lights), and add the 5 lights to the light bar. i think i want to move the 2 lights on the front bumper and make them into rock lights or something. not sure yet. something tells me i am going to have to get a different light controller for all that, so it may be a winter project instead.

the BRXL came in the mail today. i got it all wired up and mounted, then played with the lights while the battery charged. i moved the 4 light string to the light bar to see how the light worked.
while driving around my front yard i figured out how i want to do all the lights.
i am going to take apart the 4 light string and put 2 of the lights in the rear light bar with the 2 red lights. then put the remaining 2 light back in the front as head lights.
i am going to scrap the 2 front bumper lights. never liked them but wasnt sure what to do with the bulbs.
then i have ti find a 5 light string and see if the stock light controller will handle all of that.

well, i went to the hobby shop and they happened to have the poison spyder wraith sitting on the shelf. so i bought it. not sure what i plan to do with it yet, so its still in the box.
i am thinking i am going to make this one the ultra 4 looking scale dash/ G6 rig and make the other one a rock rig that i can let my friends drive.

pics when i am not working and have 5 mins.
