    Bmf Wraith

after the June Rausch comp i knew i had to do some work on the buggy, so i decided to strip it and go thru everything.
what i found was the rear locker was broken. the ring gear was mushroomed over and the pinion was one scale dash from being gone. i ordered hot racing lockers (spools really), axial HD hardened ring and pinion gears, all new bearings from fast eddies, mip driveshafts, VP knuckles and steering links, a 3racing winch, Dlux machined 5mm balls for the proline shocks, and stuff i am sure i forgot.
i replaced the motor with another cheap 27t for now and picked up a new 18t pinion for now.
the largest part was the futuba 4pl radio/ receiver. that wont be here until next week.
so while i am waiting on parts to arrive, i made a couple cuts to the chassis.
it wasnt easy to make the first cut, the rest of them were easier.

You picked up a bunch of quality parts there. I like the change you did. I have seen other Wraiths done in a similar way.

These alum panels need to be scratched up. They look better in the pics.
I am ordering some parts to make a radiator and a light bar for the front today. Should be ready by the time the radio gets here. Next weekend I am hoping for a shake down run.
