So after some long hard days, of absolutely getting no where. I finally made some progress. I was gonna do a tube build, then the brazing didn't go so well, so i figured why keep trying to mess around and just get something done.

So i decided to go with the stock bed, after some trimming, got the bed attached to the chassis.

Then i got some lower links on it, and did some overall fittings:

Then i got my uppers cut and mounted:

And it's sitting on a tire, but now the bed is mounted, and it's 4 linked.. Now onto the shocks, and then i'll have a roller....

Just sanded down the body, and found a creepy critter in my basement. So this sidetracked me for about 10 mins, grabbed the neighbor, he's like it's not poisonous, about a 2ft rat snake. Got him in the box and relocated him to the woods, guess i won't leave my door open again. I hate snakes!!!!!! So with the snake gone, got some paint on the body, had to think of a color that wasn't as common amongst u all at the comps..

From looking at it you might want to shorten the WB a bit so the axles are centered in the wheelwells.

So i got into the mood tonight to paint that heavily scratched up formerly black f350. So i started by sanding it all down, cleaning it up, and putting on this burnt orange color, and then i was always fascinated with the splash effect, so i went with a od green. I started by taking out the windows, headlights and masking the chrome grille. I first did the cab:

Then did the same on the bed, although the logo on the tailgate i screwed up, but i think i can fix it. I left the inside of the box black to resemble like a bed liner.:

I'm not a pro yet at painting, though i can draw. I do however like the outcome of the paint job....

The good thing with the paint on the tail gate is you can always sand it down and paint it again.

So as most of u know, i was torn between Class 2 or Class 3. Well i am going class 3 all the way..

So i extended my chassis 1.25" and bolted on a metal brace so i could run a stinger bumper..

    Now with the body on:

Then i had to trim the fenders for max clearance, thinking about doing a tube max clearance fender: ( i didn't know how to pinch).

So i really didn't want to cut up the bed till i learn how to dovetail, so i decided to mod the cage... I am gonna stick to the cage b/c i like the way it looks on the truck.

Here is a side shot with the stinger, neither the cage nor the stinger are completed:

Just a couple more pics, the last pic, nothing is bolted down, everything is just sitting in place, and i'm laying at this point.

    Thanks for looking guys....
    More to come
