    If you want to do the scaler thing you could probably use the SCX-10 chassis rails and make the axles and tranny work.

    X2.. I don't think that chassis would be scale comp legal, it is fine for 2.2 comp class though if that is the route you want to go. An SCX, X-Trail, or other rail chassis would be the way to go for scale comp class.

    X3, yes this chassis isn't a legal chassis for a scaler. Though at the time i didn't think about whether he wanted scale or comp. But if u still want to just try another chassis ur more than welcome to try it out.. Basically see the differences from a stock ck to a slightly upgraded ck chassis.
