Well today I only had one small job in the morning so I got home and lunch time and fired up the heater in the shop. Managed to get the servos installed and transmission going. Having some issue with the drive shafts, but I put some thread lock on them and maybe they will hold. The 7t Puller is fricken ridiculous for power! I am running 15t pinion on 87t spur with 2s lipo. All powered by a waterproof HH BRXL. I can almost do wheelies except for the weight in the front wheels. I need full metal gears in this thing quick!

Got in some driving today. Watch for the video on that. This is what it looks like reassembled. I have to redo the spare tire mount, but other then that it's running good. Need a couple servo mount ears and maybe some more thread lock.

So I got some more wheel time in with this. Currently working on the video for it. The rear servo is loose, but I ordered some mounts. Hope they will be here in time. Even without all the flex I used to have, it still drives pretty good. I left the slipper clutch in so that I can spare my drive train parts until I can afford metal gears. The Integy driveshaft kept coming loose, so I drilled some holes in them to get the set screw down tight. As always this thing is a beast!! Thankfully I built it pretty solid, and once I get the rear shocks towers fixed, it will have it's flex back and dominate! Hahaha! SO looking forward to this comp on Saturday!

Cracked open the axles tonight to install some OD gears and change out to CVDs and found this lovely mess. I never checked them before since I was short on time. They spun, so I threw them in. Also, couldn't get the one drive shaft off. It had an allen wrench broken inside it. I tried to drill it out, but it's stuck.

arent the OD gears teeth curved slightly? or are those and i cant see it?

i too have fallen victim to whooped driveshafts with set screws stripped in them. some you can drill out and some are just friggin stubborn.

Yes they are. I just moved that axle to the rear axle and left it stock.

Finally had an hour to replace the trashed CVDs from the last comp. The C Hub shifted on one side and made the CVD slide out of the locker and round out. I got new CVDs and new HD lockers and swaped them both out. The new ones look just slightly longer then the old which may have been some of my problem in the first place. But now I have tons of turn.
