    Riks PTI...

well here's my PTI. got this when it first came out. i'd guess around 3-4 yr's ago. long before the RTR's, stretch kits, and all that.

    1st, the "body-less shot"

    2nd, the "standard flex shot"

    3rd, the "standard action shot"

here's what i've done so far..
-HPI GRU (TONS of torque  )
-spun my own links, steering links,
-plated all links with electroless nickel with teflon impregnation(andozine scrapes off to easy)
-made new chassis rails(based on PTI rails) with more shock locating holes
    -made aluminum receiver plate
-made aluminum esc plate with aluminum standoff's
-made aluminum servo holder (again based on PTI's holder) out of thicker aluminum
-made new body post out of black delrin (ones in pics have to be trimmed down)
-made roll-over posts out of #300 series stainless steel(to protect motor/GRU)
    -novak rooster crawler esc
-208 oz. high torques digital core-less servo, metal gears (what-a-mouthful)
-lipo on top of the servo
    -pro-line maobs
    -jun-fac bead-locks
    -memory foams
    -rip motor sports 27t motor
-machined inside of skid plate to allow for larger spur
-rig is 4ws ready (used to use it...dont really care for it now)
-and as for my radio system.....IT SUCKS!!!!! hight tech receiver and a futaba radio (working on a budget here people!)

thats all that i can think of for now..... she's still a work in progress... i'm always on auto-cad at night!

Thanks! I really do enjoy this rig. I've got a lot of blood, sweat, and tears in this thing.

That's great, I really like your white lettering on the tires. What did you use and how well does it do against the rocks?

i used an Elmer's paint marker with a fine tip. got it at *al-mart for 1.99...it actually holds up really well, even to my surprise. tomorrow i'll look in my toolbox for the specific's of mentioned marker.

Awesome, I thought about doing mine a while back, but I'm not sure how it'll look on Rovers.
