So I'm taking out the brushless motor because of that issue I was having... I put one of these in with my Novak Goat... Axial 55t motor... looks kinda generic... I bpught it a while ago before I actualy had my truck and it's just been sitting on the shelf.

Only problem now Is that I've got no wheel speed and not nearly as much torque as I had with the brushledd 18.5 from NOVAK... and sugections on a better brushed motor that will give me more tourque and wheel speed?

45T or 35T. I assume this is for a comp rig right?

This is for my venom. I found a suggestion to up it to a 19t pinion from a 14 and go with an integy 55t motor that you can get on the ckrc site store. Would you recumbent that? The spur is I believe a 45 tooth

You can try it, it is a cheaper way to go right now

I have a Integy V11 35T in my Jeep, and a HH Pro 45T in my comp rig. Both motors seem to work very well and are rebuildable, unlike the Axial. Are you running a 3S or 2S set up.

I'm running the Novak Goat 2S esc... I had the 18.5 brushless which was awesome but the sensor port on the ESC went bad so not I'm going to a brushed motor.

Is that the 2S/3S Goat? If so, another way to get more wheel speed is with more voltage. Sorry to hear about the Goat losing the sensor port. I just fried an ESC last week. I hope it is under warranty, but in the mean time I just bought another. I figure it will serve me on my next project one day.

I decided on the Novak 45t motor and will up my pinion to 17 t with a 38 spur. Other hikes running the venom said that worked good for them. We shall see.
