ok so i won a set of 1.9 pit bulls and i was trying to put them onto rc4wd rims and well its been a huge pain in the azz thus far. anyone have any hints to try. i know they will work i just have to find the right way to do it. not going to be easy but is anything worth doing ever easy.

They don't mount to steelies well. one trick is to cut a new inner ring out of PVC, others have been tacking them with glue. I have mine on axial wheels and the mount up great.

I did the PVC ring. It's the same thing we all did to make bead locks out of MRC wheels back in the day. I happened to have some laying around, so I just used them.

Yes a 3/4" (I believe) ring of 2" PVC will get them to fit just fine. Let me know if you need some rings I can cut them for you, I have a bunch of leftover 2" PVC

I would not mind a set, I would like to get away from these plastic rims.

I'll take a set too. Wait a minute I don't have any steelies. I guess I just got swept up with all the I want some fun. :13a:

Someone grab me the exact measurement needed, or post the RCC link here, I will spark up the chop saw and rattle off a few sets.

I have a bunch leftover from Piezometer tests I did, the client paid for material and now that we are done with it, I either take some home, or chuck it all in the can... Maybe 50 LF, so I think I can cut a few rings

If you would get me a mesurement on your stock rings, some of you have different style wheels and I don't know if they are the same width
